Summer Decorating on the Farmhouse Porch

Today I am sharing with you how I decorated my farmhouse front porch for Summer. Here in Michigan it has been in the 80’s this week. So it was time to plant some planters and get the plants out.

I decided to use a picture out here it is in an area that doesn’t get wet or sunshine. My vintage ironing board turned sign and faux daisies in the old barrel.

Do you see the cutie peeking over the plants. Our barn cat loves to get his picture taken. I put ferns and a geranium with asparagus plant that I had over wintered. Much to my surprise it made it and is going to be blooming soon. You can see how we made the porch planter here.

On the steps I used some faux Geraniums in my vintage watering cans. I love mixing the vintage with the new. We just redid the porch floor with the deck renovation stain. I love the stuff it really covered well and made it look new again.

I went with pinks and white flowers with a touch of blue. I am loving how it all came together. You can see last years porch here.

Thank you for stopping by and God Bless!

    1. Thank you Tammy, I am loving the pink too. He is always wanting his pic taken. The photographer from the magazine got several pics with him in it. 🤣🤣🤣
