A Christmas Tour of Our Home

Today I am joining some sweet ladies as we take you on a little tour of our homes. A big thank you to Cindy from Cloches and Lavender for putting this all together. If you have been following along then you may be coming from CoCo’s home. Wasn’t it just lovely?

Welcome, I’ll start by inviting you into my home from the porch. Here I used my galvanized pails and made some faux wood wrapped presents. This was before we got a snowstorm.

Now welcome to my kitchen, this is where I spend the most time especially during the holidays. I’ve got to make sure there are always goodies waiting for the grandchildren.

When we moved here this is the one room we completely remodeled from top to bottom. There were raccoons living in our house when we purchased it. Needless to say it needed a lot of work. We did everything ourselves, but that way I could do what I wanted. I used some furniture pieces instead of cupboards. For decorations in here I just added greenery and lots of bottle brush trees for Christmas.

I always bring my copper dishes out for Fall and Winter. This year I put them in my hutch in the kitchen. Along with my diy Winter houses, Can you believe they were the bright colored house from the dollar store?

Next I am going to show you a little space in my bathroom.

This is a ledge I recently added to the bathroom. We only have one bathroom, remember it’s an old farmhouse. I purchased that painting for .25 at a flea market. That was my find of the year!

Cloie loves to model

Our living room forest of trees, I hung some snowflakes from the ceiling and we love it. I wanted the tree to reflect the true meaning of the season. So I made some wood signs and painted the words True Love was Born in a Stable and put the nativity below.

We put another of our vintage door trees in the dining room. Here is the mantel and a small corner in the room.

Thank you for stopping by, I always love to hear from you! Next up is Cindy, and her home is beautiful!
