DIY Wood Craft Challenge

Today I am joining some ladies for the first of the month DIY challenge. Terrie at Decorate and More hosts this each month. If your here from The House On Siverado , wasn’t her craft beautiful! This month it was to find some craft wood at the dollar store and make something. Mine is quite simple I am almost embarrassed to share it. But I will! I just took a small crate that my local dollar store had. I stained it with some wood stain I had on hand. I think I purchased it at Hobby Lobby but it was a few years ago.

Then I had also found these adorable wood sticker leaves and pumpkins. I knew I wanted to use them somehow too.

I stained the crate and then I liked the leaves natural so I hot glued them on to the front of the crate. And then I just started putting some of my cotton candy corn inside and a small felt pumpkin. I wanted to add some more texture so I added a tassel of jute.

There it is easy peasy! Up next is Cindy from Cloches and Lavender, I hope you visit each one there sure is some great inspiration!
